I recently started capturing gameplays again, using FPGA hardware - HD quality captures to replace older NESguide gameplays in the archive set - a few from other consoles and handheld titles too.

Please subscribe via the NESguide YouTube and/or this BlueSky feed if you'd like to follow along with me on this new quest; as I traverse and capture the NES catalog once again.

NESguide was started because, at the time in 2007 (when YouTube was still in infancy) many of the more obscure NES titles didn't have a video of any sort. NESguide's mission was to fill that void by producing a basic but comprehensive gameplay video archive. This goal was met in mid-2009, but most of these videos were captured from the av-out on an original NES toaster and haven't aged well.

I'm working on restoring the website as well, as time allows, while making a few changes to improve its value as a resource. It's a labor of love, as always; this will take time.

Thanks to all for your continued encouragement and support!
